If these songs don't touch, move, and inspire you, call the undertaker because you're already stone cold dead. It's incredibly difficult to describe the recordings without using any of the already overworked superlatives of today's English. Remembering that "awe" is the root of the word "awesome" helps. If you had to describe Craft of Kin and On the Wing in one word, my best recommendation is "masterpiece". Actually, two words will tell you all you need to know about this body of work: "Get Them"

"Tull's arrangements, selection, and playing is top notch. Banjomer and Steel Drum is an incredible sound. The CD takes dulcimer to some exotic places. It contains a few vocals too. Makes for a good balance in the selections and feels more intimate. My favorite cut is 'Call Me Stupid'. Tull knows how to create a CD that has great musicians with a full sound while still letting the dulcimer shine through."
