A Piece of It All
"A Piece of It All" is a collection of previously unrecorded original songs, penned and performed by Steve over the past 30 years, that have been waiting patiently for their day in the sun. On this recording Steve sings and plays guitar, mountain and hammered dulcimers and dulci-bro. There's more about the stories behind the songs on Steve's website.
Song List:
A Ship May Be Safe -- I Miss America -- Porch Swingin' -- War Is Sweet (to those who never taste it) -- I Said Nothing -- Beauty in the World -- Nothing Like the Sound of a Woman -- Who Am I? -- Rock on Rock -- Didn't Know I Was Lost -- Sad -- Careless Love (well, ok, this one IS a cover of a traditional American tune!) -- Set Your Back (to the setting sun)

Soaring
Song List:
Soaring -- I Am A Pond -- Lake Ozark Blues -- Uncle Jim's Song -- Simple Gifts -- Another Winter's Day -- Waly, Waly (The Water is Wide) -- Reluctant Busboy -- Mail Order Bride -- Orphan Train -- Noel New-Velet -- Air Falalalo -- Maquiladora
This fan-demanded recording is like Steve's live shows where he trades instruments to weave together original and traditional songs with instrumental tunes as he shares the "sweet music" of dulcimers.
While not a "dulcimer album", both hammered and mountain dulcimers are an integral voice throughout the songs and tunes. Favorite traditional tunes are joined by playful and serious original songs. Steve's creative arrangements shine in Lake Ozark Blues, Noel New-Velet and the celtic Reluctant Busboy. He is joined on this recording by the Northern Colorado talents of Russ Hopkins (Blind Monks), Carole & Teresa Lundgren (Random Acts), Mike Moxcey, Heather Wegter and Kevin Jones.
REVIEWS:
"I really enjoyed [Soaring]. I'm sure your fans will love it."
--Russell Cook, Masterworks Dulcimers
"Very good playing, and very thoughtful songwriting. I resonated with your choice of topics, and appreciated your using music to express these sorrowful and blissful parts of human experience."
--Bonnie Carol, Colorado dulcimer builder and player
"Just like Zappa, Eulberg has a sense of humor that comes through in his lyrics. Songs such as I Am A Pond and (6-String) Mail Order Bride rely heavily on clever rhyming and unusual turns of phrase while expressing definite values. Not all of Eulberg's vocal pieces on Soaring are humorous or dependent on world manipulation for effect. Another Winter's Day in Colorado and Orphan Train are both finely crafted songs that touch the emotions."
--Tim Van Schmidt, Riff Magazine

The recipe includes portions of guitar, mandolin, mountain and hammered dulcimers, bass, national guitar and box set, as well as vocals by each member of the group, all mixed together to produce what has been called a "slow simmered gumbo", "a spicy and original roux", music to savor and enjoy.
REVIEWS:
"Our whole family laughed so hard we cried when Jim [Pierce] sang "What the Hell" from Bottle Up and Go at my retirement party. That song could have been written about Larry when he takes off for Sturgis on his motorcycle and leaves me at home. I've been playing the CD in the car all week. It's great"
--Joan, St. Joseph, Missouri
"My 4 year old grand-daughter wants to listen to "Fish Ain't Bitin'" every time she comes over. She knows all the words and sings along."
--Ed, St. Joseph, Missouri
